And October makes three!
Croissants@Cradducks has now become a regular quarterly fixture and Wednesday 15th October saw our guest speaker Rod Carr OBE, CEO of the Royal Yachting Association (with whom Cradducks have a long standing relationship) give us all a fascinating behind-the-scenes insight of Team GB sailors at the recent Beijing Olympics. Supported by a short video and Powerpoint presentation, Rod gave an excellent account of what is involved in putting together a winning team. If you are interested in attending this free event, please email David at david@cradduck.com who will be pleased to put you on the invitee list for C@C4 which will be mid-January and will about the Alresford Watercress Festival in May 2009. A light breakfast of croissants, muffins, pastries and fruit will be on offer, along with coffee, tea and orange juice. It all kicks off at 7.15am with a view to being finished by 9am, so everyone can go off and do a day’s work afterwards! As to the future, we are constantly seeking interesting and topical speakers and may vary the time of day for the event. For instance, we may well have a summer Canapés @Cradducks in the early evening - for those who find the early start a bit too early! Watch this space for more details... |
